AP Congress Reads the ‘Writing on the Wall’

Nandyala Bypolls could be the final death nail to Congress in Andhra Pradesh, with their candidate just crossing thousand votes. The AP Congress leaders recently held a review meeting on this defeat and came to a conclusion that they shouldn’t even have contested the election in the first place.

The meeting was held in Amaravati in the presence of Digvijay Singh, where PCC chief Raghuveera Reddy revealed that no candidate will be ready to compete in the elections on behalf of the Congress party unless the party bears the expenses. Some leaders suggested that an open apology from Sonia-Rahul only could bring some hope.

However, most of the party leaders seems to have got the clarity that their future is jeopardy if they stay with the Congress. Reportedly, they have discussed about joining other parties sooner than later. As most of them may not go to the ruling party, the only alternative is YSCRCP. And a migration wave from Congress to YCP could be on cards in the upcoming weeks
