Visakhapatnam, June 24, 2017 (DNS online) : The most prestigious Andhra University to host 3rd Andhra Pradesh Science Congress from November 7th 2017, informed Prof. G. Nageswara Rao, its Vice Chancellor. Addressing the broucher release session in the campus on Saturday, he said this session is being organised in association with AP Akademi of Sciences Amaravati, to honour top Nobel laureates Sir CV Raman, Madam Curie, and Padmabhushan Acharya NG Ranga.
The Focal theme of the session is ” Green Technologies for Transformation and Sustainable Development”. About 2000 academicians including International award receipiants will attend the session to exhibit the latest developments in Science. The Akademi invites nominations for the annual Young Scientist Awards (to be given to those who are below 35 years of age) for their significant contributions in various sectors, he added. The last for the receipt of the nominations is 31st August 2017.
A special theme sessions also be held on ” Nanotechnologies”, “Cyber Security” and ” Medicinal Plants, Oils and Fats” apart from the regular topics including distinguished lectures, panel discussions and exhibitions. Further to encourage and to motivate school children, this Congress will facilitate interaction with renowned scientists across the nation.
