Lagadapati’s Nandyala Survey Favours The Other Party

Former Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal, known for his controversial Pepper Spray incident in Parliament, has been out of action for some time, along with the Congress Party in Andhra Pradesh, in recent times. The MP, once famous for controversies similar to his filmy friend RGV (in his own field) is nowhere to be seen, or to be listened to. But, the surveys he conducts still have some reliability in the public.

It was known that Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi’s political secretary Ahmed Patel used to call up Lagadapati for his infamous Surveys, whenever and wherever the elections take place in the country. The results of these surveys used to fare almost 100 percent every time. So, the same credibility for his surveys is here in Telugu states too. But after the reorganisation of AP and Telangana, Lagadapati and his surveys have been absent.

But now, his survey for the Nandyal By-poll has become politically sensational again. After the completion of voting yesterday, Lagadapati revealed his survey details and poured water on YCP’s victory claim, saying that the increased voting will be changing the result. In his survey, he predicted that the TDP will win by 17,333 votes, as the total votes polled in Nandyal were 1,73,335. He further asserted that the winning margin may even rise up to 20,000, but TDP would be the clear winner.
