Superstar Rajinikanth’s blockbuster movie ‘Kabali’ was shot extensively in Malaysia and the small country has a huge number of Rajinikanth fans which was evident in the way he was received wherever he went in Malaysia while shooting for the film. People were waiting in thousands and thousands to catch a glimpse of the much loved star.
‘Kabali’ is the story that happens in Malaysia for a predominant part. This has also helped the Malaysian tourism in many ways.
Now there is news that the Malaysian Government is considering to make Rajinikanth as the Brand Ambassador for Malaysian Tourism.
Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is the Brand Ambassador for Malaysian Tourism since 2008 and he has received the prestigious Datukship in 2011.
Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz, Minister for Tourism and Culture of Malaysia, has pitched the idea of replacing Rajinikanth as the Brand ambassador of Malacca Tourism. His proposal has received favorable responses from few Malaysian MPs in the Parliament.
We can expect an official decision to be arrived very soon and our very own Superstar is likely to become the prestigious Brand Ambassador of Malaysian tourism.
